New Departure/Hyatt is /was a bearing manufacturing co. New Process, a division of Chrysler makes/made Transmissions & transfer cases. Not Positive , but I think they joined with GM to form New Venture. My 2001 Dodge has a 6-speed New Venture transmission, I believe the model is NV5600.
