Difference in the two tractors is the hp (25). Cat 3208 is known as a 'throwaway engine'. Neighbor replaced his with a 34xx? and that one threw a rod into the field a few years later. Then bought a pumpkin. 4-2xx are built better. Jack up the center to check the pivot pins for wear. Cheap power as long as they last- same story with other older 4wd. Can't beat the extra traction though. But I think Steiger, Versatile, are more dependable. Might be harder to find with pto, 3ph, if you need that.
