I agree with the ford 3000 or 3600. I am a Deere man, but Deere cant compete in the small category. The 3600 is around 42 hp. They are very easy on fuel, have 3 point, eight gears, and a two stage clutch (almost like live pto) I have had the privilege to operate a 3600 during hay season. It is great for raking, fluffing, or even cutting with the 7 foot disc mower. The ride is the only thing on the ford that leaves something to be desired, but they are by far the best small tractor in my mind.
