Just yesterday ,my friend and I rescued a Calfdozer from a scrap yard in West Auckland NZ. So far it has not yet been delivered so have not had the chance to examine it properly. We suspect it is one of 25 Calfdozers purchased by NZ Railways between 1947 and 1957. The machine we rescued is unusual in that it has an aircooled, two-cylinder, side-valve engine of possibly British manufacture as the carburetter looks like a side-inlet, updraft Zenith. apart from that we will have no other information available until we start stripping it down.
