martin gourds on metal poles about 16-20 feet in the air work extremely well as martins eat 2 1/2 times there body weight a day in mosquitos. Put them up in mid feb. and take down and clean out and store till next year after they leave in late summer. For more info do a search for martins on the internet P.S. these little guys are fun to watch with areial displays like you've never seen
