Howard, not a lot of difference between rednecks and good ole boys.....I've heard it put like this: a redneck is a fellow who rides around in his pickup; may have a few bumper stickers, definitively has a gun rack in the rear window with at least one gun in it; may be alone or with a friend or two; as he empties his beer, he throws the can out on the side of the road. Most (not all) of the guys (including myself) below the Mason-Dixon line fall into one or both categories
