Absolutly right!!! We ordered geese and ducks [day old] from a catalog and while the snakes partied in the pond and pretty much took over we raised them in a brooder box to 4 months old. Released them on the pond and the snakes started growing thumbs so they could catch a ride out of DODGE!!! Also geese take no foolishness from strange vehicles in the drive and you had better have good intentions when you get out at the barn and even that doesn't help most of the time. They also let you know from a half mile away if somethin' ain't right on the place that they can't take care of themselves.
