Unless you and the person that is pulling you are real familiar with tractors and equipment, always use high range and high gear. I have had to replace clutch disc in quite a few tractors for people who have tried pulling them to start and used a low gear. They wind up throwning the clutch faces off. The last two tractors were a Case (david brown) 380 and a Ford 6610.
