You could buy an older semi tractor and drop deck trailer for a lot less money than a new pickup and trailer. Then use it as one of your restoration projects. I have seen some beautifully redone Kenworth and Peterbilt conventional tractors from the 70's and early 80's. Now there's something that would really be impressive when you show up at a tractor show with a rig like that with 4 or 5 antique tractors on it.
