Before you convert to a 12 volt system , have someone to fine tune your 6 volt system and try to keep it that way.I buy and sell old tractors and tractors converted to 12 volt aren't worth near as much as the original 6 volt. Some years back I bought a Super C and had it converted over to 12 volt and it's very hard on the starter. I've had the starter redone about 3 times in 10 years.I'm thinking about switching it back to 6 volt.Just an opinion!!!!
