Yep! I also subscribe to the KISS principle. If slipping the clutch(as in up against a large tree)does not free up the clutch the next item is to reset the clutch(s) adjustments to proper specs. The last resort is splitting the tractor to replace the clutch, pressure plate, Throw out bearing, and anything else that appears worn. This in not a difficult job with the proper equipment, but it is time consuming. The entire procedure is detailed in the MF135 shop manual.
