Rem, thanks for the heads up. In general, I have to agree with the folks below who say just erase these emails & forget about it before things escalate to this level. I don't know how you got to the point of getting a threat or a check from them, so I do not want to sound judgemental to you - but for all in general: Do not respond to the greed, don't play with them. Don't reply to any spam for drugs & cheep loans & all that. All of the above are in the same deal - they flood the world with their garbage, and hope that 1 in 1000 or 10,000 will reply. They can make 'good' money off such low replies, because it is so cheap to contact that many people. If one walks down certain dark alleys & neigborhoods, one doesn't flash a wad of cash to see what happens. Well, the internet is a great place for research & bonding of ideas - but it also has some dark alleys. --->Paul
