Scammers are counting on one ally, Greed. If we humans were not greedy by nature, they would not have a chance. When they send a check for 7 times the selling price, they are appealing to our greed. I know it's hard to do, but the one sure way to not be taken by them is to hit the delete button whenever the offer is too good to be true. They are nothing but con artists and they consider us to be the marks.
