New Old Tractor

Hello, I am a carpenter by trade and my wife grew up a farm girl and we share a common desire to put our 4 acres to good use. The tractor a Allis D17 IV is in restored condition with a factory cat II 3 point. We have a used 3 bottom plow and 8' wheeled disc w/hyd, and a new land pride blade a fert spreader.
Our plan is to clear the brush cover land and plant sweet corn and pumpkins not so much for profit more of a hobby. Any advice on the tractor (looking for an operators manual now at Agco dealer) or clearing and planting the land would be helpful and appeciated. Please bare with me I might ask a dumb question!!!!!!!!! LOL
