Do you know about this magazine? This fall they had a copy dedicated to repowering. Shoot, a guy put a Plymouth Omni engine in his Bobcat for Pete's sake. Another guy put a Perkins in a F-150, Some nut put a Deere combine engine in a 1 ton Chevy.
A farmer put a huge Cummins (14 litre) into his big Case 4X4. Looks like the hardest thing with most repowers is stretching, or widening the frame.
Looks like most fellas used the local machine shop to fabricate adapter plates or alter flywheel bolts. Most make there own engine mounts.
