Old scam,New angle

I recieved a phone call today from an operator that said she had a "message for me from someone on a computer." The operator would read me what she saw on her computer screen, and would type my reply.Yes, it was someone wanting to buy a tractor, and yes, it was overseas.The prospective buyer didn't want to take no for an answer until I told him it was cash only.The operator said he broke the connection after that.Why couldn't the "buyer" e-mail me directly??? I guess they know we are on to that one. Do these people ever quit??? Do they think we are all idiots??? Has anyone else experienced this?
