A few years back , my brother reached into a hay bailer to help a flake of hay along(rebailing broken bale). He was wearing work gloves. The fork come down and into the back of his glove. Shoved his hand into the chamber , and the guillotine chopped it off. It was the last chop before tieing the bale. He reached in with his right hand , grabbed his left hand. He walked about 800 feet , when he saw one of his boys come running out of the house. After hollering to dial 911 , he passed out along the road. Believe it or not , the doctors sewed his hand back on. A little deformed , but everything works. And like we all know , he had no business reaching into that bailer to begin with. I think he was paying so much attention not to get caught up in the pick-up tines , he completly forgot about the fork.
