When I was mechanic in mid 80's it was the '84-'85 Nissan Maxima with autmatic transmission. Lift car, remove filter, but can't get it past transmission mount. lower car, reach behing engine and remove filter. place new filter behind engine, raise car so you can see where to put it back on. Lower car and put in the 4-5/8 (or some such rediculous fraction) quarts of oil.
Got paid for 12 minutes to do this from the time I got the ticket 'til I got back to the service desk.
