my dad caught his hand in an auger cost him all his fingers and most of his thumb. took a while but he did learn to write left handed the way he used to with his right...it bothered my dad rest of his life..and his right hand was always cold...hope and pray doesn't happen to anyone...guess it taught me from that time to not take chances with farm equipment...next to my dad dying was about the saddest day of my life, and i can remember it like it was yesterday, and that was almost 20 years ago...
