Thanks for the responce. I never stopped to think of those bases which must have been in Scotland. It's a shame that the bases in England seem to have gotten all the attention (a lot like the "D-Day Dodgers" in Sicily and Italy). Do I detect a Scottish connection with the name "Hamish" ?
