I had an elderly friend who stated emphatically: "No seat belts for me! I wouldn't be caught dead in a seat belt"!
Well, he wasn't! He pulled his car out into 2 lanes of traffic, on a 4-lane road, got hit, the car swung to the right, he fell out, and the cars came together, there-by squashing him in between them!
I also say, if yer tractor doesn't have ROPS protection, then don't have seat belts, so ya can leap away from trouble. Hopefully!
And, when the do-gooders start clamoring for seat belts on motorcycles, I'll give mine up!
