I think you would be happy with a Massey Ferguson 35 or 135. They are lower in price in my neck of the woods than a Ford 3000/2000. These tractors are very easy to work on, lots of internet help and parts everywhere! They are small, but have a lot of power. Price I see is between $3K & 5K. If you like a bit more of an older/rounded look, the MF50 is a good machine. It is the same hp as the 35 & 135 and is taller and somewhat longer and will sell for some less than the others - but is a great tractor too. Good luck,
