On subject of damaging rental trucks, years ago, I had a load to shift, it tore a BIG hole in a new Ryder Box Truck.It only had 900 miles on it. I had paid the optional $15.00/day damage waiver, they said not to worry about it. By the way, if renting a truck, always document any damage before leaving lot. Another rental firm tried to charge me for some obviously old damage to a truck.
