My suggestion was not meant to discourage anyone from asking questions or poke fun at those who do but, there are however a number of very good reasons that the manufacture provides an operators manual with new equipment, the primary one being safety. I'm very concerned that someone who doesn't understand what that lever does may remove his arm, leg, run over a child or himself.
I stand by my original post in its entirety even though there are many different points of view and probably non-of them wrong. I have been at this for many years and think that your manuals (operators & service) are about as important as any tools you may have in you box. Thanks for the spirited feed back guys maybe some new buyers will read these comments and pick up something.....
