I recently had this problem with the H I bought. We slid the wheels all the way in and got it on a trailer 78" wide. It has 12.4x38 on it and they rubbed the rails but went on. Don't know if the inside of the M's axles are wider or not. Of course if the wheels are dished toward the inside they would go much narrower but reversing wheel is no picnic.(especially with loaded tires) Hope I was some help.
