Finally something I can comment on. Had a competitor unit for a year and a real mantis for about 6 years now. For working up a new bed a full sized tiller is nicer but with an established bed these things work well. Easy to start and surprisingly effective with close in weeding and things like that. Hard clay here in new beds and it will even chew that up if you have the time to let it work. I always use 89 octane stabilized fuel with quality oil and don't have any trouble with it. Big rocks have to be hand removed but most other things it'll chew up.
