I have used our Tahoe for towing my tractor & other equipment. I believe the towing capacity is 8,000 lbs. I would have a trailer with brakes on any towing job. I never had any problems. I did find that with double axle trailers are sensitive to weight distribution and tire pressure. I had one walking around on me real bad - I stopped at a tire store and had them check my pressure - evened everything out and worked out great. The tahoe is one tough truck. I have never had a trans or engine problem in 200,000 + miles. The most reliable vehichle I have ever owned. My 2c Irv

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
