Uh oh. Is that oil on my hood???

Good day folks,

Well, found something interesting speckled all over the hood, pulley, and fenders of my John Deere R this morning. Dad's had her hooked up to a hydraulic log splitter the past couple of weeks so I haven't had a chance to see her till today. Turns out she's been throwin oil out the exhaust stack recently. Now, I've had the suspicion that it's needed a ring job but now I believe it's proof positive. My question for y'all is this; does J.D. or some other company still sell ring sets for the "R"? I've heard talk that they don't sell the pistons for them anymore but I didn't know about the rings. I sure hope they do because the alternative is not one that I want to deal with, especially around Christmas time. Thanks a whole lot and God bless.
