We like to call that "white stuff" winter mosquitos! Come November, they multiply, land on the ground, die and pile up. Sometimes the wind blows them around and usually after a big hatching, it gets real cold.
My grampa once told me that He had a friend He visited in Ariz. His friend was planting popcorn with a mule and the temp. was around 140 degrees.
It was so hot, the popcorn started popping, the mule thought it was snow and fell right over dead!
