Nebraska... Deere 2 cylinder gasoline tractor engines have the spark plugs screwed into the side of the BLOCK, rather than into the cylinder head, as is more common. There is not much of a chamber recess in the head. Therefore, due to the low compression these engines run, the piston DOES NOT come near the face of the block. That being said, I do not know any of the exact dimensions Old Joe is looking for.
