As a seller I have been tempted many times to add "seriuos inquires only". 90% of the calls I get on a for sale item are people trying to figure out how much their item is worth. Or worse, trying to sell you something you are trying to sell. I had a tractor for sale one time and a man called and wanted to sell me the same tractor with a plow. I pointed out, if I wanted a tractor like this, I wouldn't be selling this one. I have never posted SEO, but can see why people do.
