Roger is correct about the seat bushings, make sure that they are good, and that the supports are roll pinned into the bushing properly.

You should also know that MMs had a seat feature that could place it with the nose down, in order to drain away rainfall. I've kind of forgotten, but lift the seat and somewhat back. With it all of the way up, you should then be able to move it slightly forward and let the rear down first, thus leveling it when the front comes down last.

Play around, you'll figure it out if the bushings are not shot.
