Advice on buying Ford 3000

Thanks to those who responded to my earlier
Ford 3000 question. I have located a beautiful
3000 gas with 3600 original hours, cab, dozer
blade, turf tires, chains, etc. I spoke to the
orig. owner who bought it new and maintained
it well. I had a dynamometer test done that
came in at 32 HP (38 new). Also did a
compression test which showed 85 lbs. (115
lbs new) that was even across all 3 cyl.; no
change when oil was added. Are the readings
too low to consider buying this tractor? I
would use it as a utility tractor--no heavy work
like plowing, etc. Price is $6000, premium
price I know, but the tractor looks like new with
good rubber and history. I'd appreciate
hearing reactions concerning the engine
condition and price. Thanks for your help.
