I built a new home three yrs. ago.I put a infloor system in ,3400sq.ft. 7 thermostats I can say It's the best thing I did!!The cost really Isn't bad,about half again as much as forced air.A boiler doesn't cost anymore than a regular forced air furnace. The cost comes in from installing all the tubeing. I used a product called "wersbo",3/4"OD--5/8"ID. I don't understand why people think the boiler is so expenceive !! .If I had to say what was the best thing about this heat it would be:no noise,no hot and cold spots,even heat floor to ceiling,VARY cost efficent,Iwish I'd have put it in my shop building !! hth.
