Of course get both. If you can't do that, consider the fact that the JD has a hand clutch and the H has a foot clutch. If you are doing anything that requires backing up and inching the clutch, you will grow to hate the JD. I have JD's and I really don't like the hand clutch when you are turned around trying to see where you are backing, but can't quite engage the clutch without turning back around. The H would be a lot better for backing. Other than that, both tractors are good stock and I would like to have them both.
