Thank you for the compliment Allan, It all comes with experience I guess. Years ago, the H that my dad owned was relegated to elevator and grain auger duty. While dad ran the cornpicker, my mother got the job of hauling in, and naturally was the one who had to start that H and get the auger going. To make things easier for mom, the pto on the H was left in gear, so all she had to do was start the tractor, and away it went, only problem was, the H didn't like to start this way, it would kick back against the starter, so dad retarded the timing a bit, no more problems. Untill I went to borrow the tractor so I could push the snow out of my driveway, it wouldn't hardly go downhill in roadgear. I grew up on this H, and knew it had more power than that, so when I finally made it to my place, the first thing I did was get a wrench and play with the timing. Needless to say, that tractor ran in roadgear all the way back to dads place.
