I got here late for the argument, but I think I'm going to go with you on the Case SC. I drove my dad's for years, learned how to turn left at the end of the field. Grandpa used to do right turns and hung the steering rod on a fence post now and then. I remember him hanging on it and beating it with a sledge hammer to get it straight, kind of.
Now our neighbor had an Allis Chalmers that had a big coil spring slung underneath it that we all called "The Bull", might have been uglier than that Case.
