I bought a 5140MFD a few years and I have not had any trouble with it at all. We use it for spraying, shredding stalks, mowing road ditches, and pulling a soilmover or box scraper. Also built mountings to put a JD(Deglemen) dozer on it to push snow in the winter. We really like it and seems like we are using it all the time. The 5230 would be just a little bit less power but would have a few updates.
