I would think if you want to load 10,000 lbs you should go with a dual tandem trailer. Remember if the MGVW is 14,000# that includes the weight of the trailer itself; you want to give yourself some leeway.
You will probably find when you look at the name-brand Cornpro, Hillsborough etc. they will be a little more expensive. But maybe you will be getting better paint job, lights, enclosed wiring etc. Compare the spacing of the crossmembers, type of decking, size and weight per foot of main chassis beams.
Please let us know how the prices/quality ran on the others and what you decided.
