Hi Paul, I don't know what the diameter of the car rim would be that the belt actually rides on. However, if it were to be 14", here's my take on your final speed: 1. First reduction = 1.5" dia to 10" dia = 10/1.5 = 6.67:1 reduction 2. Second reduction = 60:1 through gear box 3. Third reduction = 3" dia to 14" dia = 14/3 = 4.67:1 reduction 4. Total reduction = 6.67 x 60 x 4.67 = 1,869:1 5. Final RPM = 850/1869 = 0.45 RPM Once you know the actual diameter at the belt location on the car rim, just substitute it for the 14" above. It may be on the order of 10", in which case, your final RPM would be 0.64 RPM. If you want 2-3 RPM as the final speed, you will need to revise either your first or third reduction diameters if you keep the same gear box. Rod
