I had the same problem with my 47 H. I removed the tank and sealed it. If there is crud in the tank now there will always be crud in the tank. there is a kit from the eastwood company that takes care of this problem. it took me 9 1/2 hours. to complete the process of redoing the tank but it is like new on the inside and will stay like that too. I tried all of the other ways of fixing it to try to save a buck butm it is not worth it.(just frustrating)
