mOST OF THE BEARINGS i HAVE REPLACED OVER THE YEARS HAVE FAILED DUE TO MOISTURE IN THE STEERING BOX. Not all of them have been left parked outside where rainwater could get in, but, have got the moisture due to condensation. It's usually the lower bearing that fails and it is usallt tractors that are parked and used only infrequently.
