I went to a "live" auction saturday. (You remember, the kind that you stand in the rain all day, and talk to everyone you know) They were selling a load of old steel I beams. 2 guys were bidding, They got it to $260, in $5 increments. The eventual buyer must have got tired of bidding. All of the sudden, he says $500. Next word I heard was SOLD!!!!
I'd still bet the $29000+ bid on the 5000 Dorf was a mistake! (Or he wanted it REAL BAD)
