I read all the posts with a deep sense of pride, and the knowledge that patriotism and duty are not just words to the authors. I phoned my Dad today and thanked him, as I do every Veterans day. I don't know how many more times I will be able to to that. He is 81, has Alshiemers, and has only begun to talk of his WWII service in the last 10 years. I hope he alive and is able to travel to Washington D.C. next memorial day for the WWII dedication. Please visit the WWII memorial website for information.
