3020 or 4020 either or, both have superior options, such as all had biult in power steering (not the usuall add on cyl.). much easier to change dual pto, and an optional shift on the go trans (powershift) for the jd's. don't even ask about the selecto-matic that ford produced, but the most important thing to consider between the 2 models is parts availablity, john deere is much better
