This all brings up the question in my mind- when is a cashier's check not a cashier's check? I thought that a cashier's check was as good as cash. If the bank gives you green, fluffy dollars for a cashier's check, then why would you be obliged to return the money? Wouldn't it be the bank's problem? Now, if it is a counterfeit check, that is another story. But if the check is issued by a real bank, then how can it bounce?
