My guess is that if you look around the net a bit you will find someone who knows something about it. I would say from what you say it may have a bit of collector value. You might take it to some shows and see if anyone acts interested or knows anything about it. It sounds like your son could learn a lot by you two fixing it up and showing it. I would check it all out, lube it completly, tune it up and enjoy it. Hope you have fun with it!
