I agree with Jim and old, start by using some good engine cleaner, I like rizalone, to free any sticking rings. The way you describe your usage of the tractor, sticky rings could be the problem. Especially if when you run it, it dosen't run for a long time. I'd also do a leak down test on the cylinders and try to determine where the blowby is coming from.
