I got into a deal as a seller recently. I listed a tractor on ebay and represented it as best I could (I believe that I am a very honest and straight forward person). I put in the ad to e-mail me with any questions before bidding. The item sold, money was sent and later they came to pick it up. When they arrived there were some things they thought were not as advertized like no engine, different model than they thought and a couple of other small items. They got out a copy of the original ad and found out that it was not misrepresented. They were not unhappy because it turned out to be something they had never seen before and are going to research and find out exactly what they have.

My point here is that if you are the buyer, be sure you read everything closely and ask lots of questions. I think this could solve a lot of disputes before they happen.

If you are not 100% sure don't send the check.
