Hi, I had the garden hose conected to the heater's inlet and ran it for 5 minuted at full stream. At 1st the water was sorta green/brown comming out the other hose but it was nice and clean after 20 seconds, but I still flushed it out for 5 minutes more. Seems to me like either a bad t-stat or air in the system as you say. Picking up a new t-stat tomorrow and then I'll know for sure :) Thanks! Mark
